Watching: The Basement

Overview

Seventeen years after leaving home, I moved back into my mother's house, bringing with me objects that felt out of place here, much like myself. So I retreated to the basement, reconstructing past living spaces, allowing memories and dreams to gradually emerge. Through examining these objects, I try to rediscover "myself"; meanwhile, my mother's voice from upstairs constantly calls out, reminding me of my identity as a "daughter". Amidst this tension, I attempt to rewrite myself, allowing the narrative to shift from "daughter" to "me".
