Storyline

In 1945, as World War II nears its end in Japanese-ruled Kaohsiung, a Taiwanese insurance agent seeking to return policy premiums, an escaped American POW, and a widowed pregnant Japanese woman are forced to confront the faint, shadowed glimmers of humanity amid a devastating air raid.
